A rag-picker is at his job.
He lights up a bidi, and then resumes to pick discarded bottles and other stuff from the road. We can’t guess he’s hungry, until a burger comes flying from an auto and lands near him.
His slow pace quickens up. He picks up the burger pack and gobbles up the content in no time.
It turns out that the burger belonged to two girls in auto, who can’t decide what to do with it, and finally throw it away in the middle of the road.
Interestingly, the girls remain unaware of the fact that their ‘waste’ came to the hungry man’s rescue.
Youtube channel Old Delhi Films’ latest video titled Hunger presents this touching story. They also urge people to not waste food and instead give it to the NGOs that will further distribute this extra food to the hungry people.
